A study published in JOSPT June 2011 looked at 9 tests that help athletes, their Doctor and Physical Therapists determine when it is safe to return to their sports after ACL reconstruction. The authors found that 3, in particular, were useful in measuring strength and balance differences side-to-side and recommended that an athlete perform at least 90% of their good leg before returning to the game.
